Shaman macros

Shamans are spiritual leaders, using their connection with the elements and ancestral spirits to heal, empower, and control the battlefield.

22 macros

  • #showtooltip Bloodlust
    /cast Bloodlust
    /raid Bloodlust is up

Casts your haste cooldown and tells the group, so a second Shaman or Mage does not overlap theirs. Horde Shamans should swap Heroism for Bloodlust.

  • #showtooltip Capacitor Totem
    /cast [@cursor] Capacitor Totem

Puts the stun totem exactly where the pack will be. Capacitor takes a few seconds to charge, so leading the enemy with it is the difference between a stun and nothing.

  • #showtooltip Chain Heal
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Chain Heal

Chain Heal bounces outward from whoever you cast it on, so choosing the right starting point is most of the spell. A mouseover bind lets you pick without a target swap.

  • #showtooltip Cleanse Spirit
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Cleanse Spirit

Dispels a curse from a hovered ally. Restoration should swap the name to Purify Spirit for the extra magic dispel.

  • #showtooltip Earth Shield
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Earth Shield

Puts Earth Shield on whoever you are hovering, defaulting to yourself. Usually parked on the tank and refreshed from across the room.

  • #showtooltip
/cast [mod:shift,@player] Earth Shield; Lightning Shield

Lightning Shield on yourself normally, Earth Shield on yourself while Shift is held. Two self-buffs that you rarely need at the same moment, sharing a slot.

  • #showtooltip Earthbind Totem
    /cast [@cursor] Earthbind Totem

Places the slowing totem where your mouse is pointing rather than at your feet. Kiting is entirely about where the slow lands, not where you are standing.

  • #showtooltip Earthquake
    /cast [@cursor] Earthquake

Drops Earthquake at your cursor with no reticle. Elemental presses this on every multi-target pull, so the saved click is worth real damage over a dungeon.

  • #showtooltip
/cast [pet:Primal Storm Elemental] Tempest; [pet:Primal Fire Elemental] Meteor
/cast [known:Storm Elemental] Storm Elemental; Fire Elemental

Summons whichever elemental you have talented, and on a second press uses the Primal Elementalist ability that goes with it. One key for a two-button setup.

  • #showtooltip Flame Shock
    /cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Flame Shock

Applies your damage-over-time effect to a hovered target without a target swap. This is how Elemental and Enhancement spread Flame Shock efficiently across a pack.

  • #showtooltip Frost Shock
    /cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Frost Shock

Slows a runner under your cursor while you keep hitting your main target. Cheap, instant, and constantly useful.

  • #showtooltip Ghost Wolf
    /cancelform [form:1,nocombat]
    /cast [combat] Ghost Wolf
    /use [noform,nocombat] Your Mount Name

Shifts into Ghost Wolf in combat and summons your mount out of it, cancelling the form first if you are already a wolf. One travel key that always does the right thing.
