Silence (Focus Interrupt)

Silences your focus target, otherwise your current target. Silence both interrupts and locks the school, so aiming it deliberately is worth the extra setup.

Where to paste this

Type /macro (or press Esc → Macros) to open the macro window.
Choose "General Macros" to share the macro across all characters, or "<Character> Specific Macros" to keep it on one character.
Click New, pick an icon — the "?" icon plus #showtooltip makes the button mirror whatever spell it will cast — and name the macro.
