Where to paste this

  1. Type /macro to open the macro window.
  2. Click New, choose an icon and a name, then paste your macro body.
  3. Drag the macro onto an action bar and bind that slot to a key.
  4. Use #showtooltip so the button icon and cooldown follow the spell being cast.

  • Arcane Explosion by Combat State

    Casts max rank in combat and Rank 1 out of it. Rank 1 out of combat is the cheap way to sweep for stealthed Rogues without draining your mana bar.

  • Arcane Intellect (Mouseover)

    Buffs whoever is under your cursor, falling back to yourself. Holding Shift casts Rank 1 instead, which is the cheap version you use on a low-level alt you are dragging through a dungeon.

    Drops a dead or friendly target, grabs the nearest enemy and casts Frostbolt — Rank 1 while Ctrl is held, which is the cheap kiting version.

    Conjures water on the first press and food on the second, always at the highest rank you know. One key replaces two that need updating every few levels.

  • Counterspell (Mouseover)
