Where to paste this

Type /macro to open the macro window.
Click Create, name the macro and pick an icon (or use #show <Ability> to mirror an ability icon).
List your abilities in priority order, highest priority first, one /cast per line.
Put abilities with no cooldown last — anything after them will never fire.
Add /suppressmacrofailures on the second line to silence "ability not ready" errors.
Drag the macro to a hotbar slot and bind it.

This macro is used for quickly damaging a single target. Arrange your dps spells in any order you want, but be mindful that some spells should always go at the end of a macro. Ensure that Savage Strike is placed last, since if you list it first the rest of your macro will never fire due to Savage Strike having no recast time. Off global cooldowns and ranged abilities can be placed after Savage Strike as off global cooldowns fire first and don't interfere with global cooldown spells. Ranged abilities will still activate if your target moves outside of your melee range.

This macro will have your pet attack A) your mouseover target B) your current target. Also if you do not have a target it will target A) mouseover target B) pets target. As well, if you hold Shift then it will recall your pet and put it on passive. Note that this requires the use of focus target, and as such, the behavior of the macro will be wonky if you already have a focus target, and it will also remove your focus target in the process.
