Pet Commands

The pet states a Lore-master or Captain needs. Putting these on quickslots matters because the default pet bar is small and easy to lose behind other windows.

Where to paste this

Type /alias add NAME "command" to create a named shortcut for a command.
Run it afterwards by typing /NAME, or place it on a bar.
Use /shortcut <slot> <command> to put a command on a quickslot — slot 61 is the first slot of the second bar.
Quickslots are numbered from 1, running left to right and then down through the bars.
Aliases are per-character and are saved automatically when you log out cleanly.

Alias Your Travel Skills

Hunters and everyone with a map skill accumulate dozens of travel destinations. An alias per destination is far faster than opening the skill panel every time.
Assist Your Target

Picks up whatever your target is attacking. Put it on a quickslot and a fellowship can stay on one mob without anyone calling targets aloud.
Create an Alias

Gives a short name to a command you type often. Afterwards, typing /home runs whatever you attached. Aliases are per-character and save automatically when you log out cleanly.
Emote on a Quickslot

Drops an emote onto a bar slot. Roleplay kinships build whole bars of these, and it is the most common everyday use of the shortcut command.
Enter Music Mode

Switches your character into music mode so you can play an instrument. LOTRO has a full ABC notation music system, and this is the first step into it.
Fellowship and Raid Chat

Posts to your fellowship with /f or the whole raid with /raid. Raid leaders live in /raid, and knowing the short forms saves a click on every call.
Flag Yourself Looking for Fellowship

Marks you as available so fellowship finder searches pick you up. Easy to forget you have left it on.
Follow Your Target

Auto-follows whoever you have selected until you move. Middle-earth is very large and travelling behind someone who knows the route is a real convenience.
