Use an Ability by Name

Fires an ability by its exact name, including the roman numeral tier. That tier changes every time you upgrade the spell, which is why dragging the ability in from the knowledge book is safer than typing it.

Where to paste this

Open the EQ2 menu, choose Macros, and click New Macro.
Name it and pick an icon — the icon is what appears on your hotbar.
Drag an ability from your knowledge book into a step, or click Command and type one.
Add further steps for chat, targeting or pet orders with the Add Step button.
Drag the finished macro from the Macro window onto a hotbar slot.
